Brief history of the CAPA - Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants

It established in 1957. Main mission is to develop and enhance the profession of accountancy in the Asian and pacific region. CAPA –the world’s largest regional accountancy organisation.The CAPA conference is held three time in every 10 years. The 14th CAPA conference or known as CAPA’96 Malaysia was held in Kuala Lumpur from 7 to 9 October 1996. The 14th CAPA conference’s theme was “The Asian Renaissance: Powerhouse of the New Millennium”
